Airwaves Ducati :: 2005 British Superbike Champions
Kick Up A Gear Award
Wrigley's Airwaves, the title sponsor of the Airwaves Ducati team, have announced that it has signed as an Official Partner of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, which will see them launch the 'Airwaves® Kick Up A Gear™ Award' for the 2008 season.
The 'Airwaves® Kick Up A Gear™ Award' will be presented to the rider who has gained the most places from their qualifying position at each race over the course of the season. Each rider will receive points equal to the number of places gained at the end of each race, the most points accumulated over the 12 rounds will determine the overall 'Airwaves® Kick Up A Gear™ Award' winner who will receive a cheque for £4,000 from Wrigley's Airwaves®.
